Dye transfer print
Signed, in pencil, au recto
Printed circa 1985
Harry Callahan devoted his life to understanding the limits of the photographic medium and to turning those limitations into poetic statements. He established the photography program at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Using colour materials before they were widely accepted, this dye transfer print is the perfect medium through which one can enjoy his clever eye and delicate palette.
PROVENANCE: Purchased from the Deja Vu Gallery, Toronto, circa 1985.
