ABOUT: Wikipedia -
This photograph is a loving depiction of the Japanese landscape. Deceptively simple, it is quietly expressive of Japanese culture and displays Friedlander’s ability to reduce content to its bare minimum.
This vintage print is in excellent condition, however some slight ‘silvering out’ is visible around approximately 1/8th inch of the periphery of the image.
PROVENANCE: Purchased direct from the artist by the current owner in 1980.
