Violet Keene Perinchief was an English-born Canadian photographer. The daughter of portrait photographer Minna Keene and painter Caleb Keene. Violet first learned how to use a camera around 1913 at her mother's studio in Montréal, Canada. After her family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Violet continued to apprentice under her mother, and eventually ran their studio after relocating to Oakville, Ontario, in 1921.
