Sunil Gupta

Sunil Gupta has been involved with independent photography as a critical practice for many years focusing on race, migration and queer issues. Gupta's series, "Christopher Street", was made in 1976 when he spent a year studying photography in New York City with Lisette Model, and was the subject of an acclaimed book of the same name released in 2018.
