INFINITE DISTANCE — nocturnal pandemic urban dreams

Don McKellar and Rita Leistner’s co-creative photographic journey during the first year of the pandemic resulted in the Tempest-like dream images of their series Infinite Distance, which explores themes of commitment, desire, betrayal, and loss while referencing archetypes from literature, art and mythology.  Leistner, a documentary photographer and filmmaker, and McKellar, a filmmaker, writer and actor, bring together their diverse practices to create a playful, fantasy-documentary during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic. Infinite Distance debuted at the Stephen Bulger Gallery in January, 2022.
